We just got back from an awesome trip. We left yesterday afternoon (I had a conference yesterday morning for work) headed to Tickfaw State Park. It's right outside of Hammond and about 2 hours from our house. We went with Melanie, Chris, and Dylan. We had so much fun and the boys had the time of their lives! They were excellent and enjoyed many new experiences. We slept in tents in the park's unimproved section. We had a tent pad, a fire ring, and a bbq pit. Well, it rained heavily the night before, so most of our campsites were underwater, but we had a great time in spite of the wet conditions. We are actually planning on going back in a few weeks.
