We Made It Back

We made it back in one piece!!!

We had a good vacation and are now back home. We did a whirlwind tour of Chicago in a day and had a great time with Eddie's Aunt Marsha. Many thanks to her and her family for opening up their home to us!!!
We left the Chicago area and went over to Des Moines, Iowa to visit Eddie's brother and his wife and his birth mother and grandmother and other family. We enjoyed visiting with Andy and Tara as well as the rest of the family. More big thanks to Andy and Tara for welcoming us in their home and showing us a great time!!
Lastly, we ventured south to Forrest City, Arkansas where Eddie's Mom is buried. It is about 6 hours from our house, so we are not able to get up there like we would like. This is the first time we have had William up there and it was a special moment. He didn't understand, but it is still nice to remind him how much his Mamaw Ann loves him and is now watching over him from heaven. While in Arkansas, we met up with some of Eddie's cousins and ended up spending them night with them. We are so lucky to have such great people in our lives!!! Thanks Stanley and Nona for welcoming us into your home!
