Welcome Monday!! Today was one that wasn't expected. It started off just like most other Mondays. I didn't have to drag William out of the bed by his toenails, but other than that, a typical Monday.
Things were rolling right along at school until about 9:30 when the electricity went out... and stayed out... ALL DAY LONG! Yes, we had school today with no electricity. Thankfully we live in Louisiana and it was in the mid 60's today with the sun shining brightly. Let's say, our new SMARTBoard was USELESS!! It's also fun to keep 4/5 year olds calm when their routine is totally altered due to the lack of lights. We did our best to keep things as close to our routines as we could, but it was just not the same.
Hoping tomorrow will be a little more electric!
