Well, today was officially my last day of summer. Tomorrow it's back to the grind and the classroom. We have had a very good summer. It's been very busy, but a good one just the same.
We did as much camping as we could given that Eddie was still on days and I teach Sunday School on Sundays. We learned that pop-up camping is the way to go. You still get to enjoy the outdoors, but coming back into the AC is sooooo nice.
We went to the beach with great friends and had a wonderful time. William really enjoyed it this year and we made some great memories.
We spent a day each week with Melanie and Dylan. It is something we did last year and again this year. We made an effort and it was worth it again!
William went to Nanny's one day a week. It's nice to be able to have a wonderful place to take him where he is safe and cared for and has good friends to play with.
William celebrated his 3rd birthday. Officially a big boy now! He is almost potty trained and is losing every little big of baby that might be left in him. I can't believe my baby is 3!
This school year looks to be quite chaotic. I will have 18 kids, I believe, including 2 sets of twins! We also have peanut allergies this year in my classroom. This is something I have never dealt with before, but am embracing it and trying to help these children have an allergy-free first year of schoool.
Hope everyone else had a wonderful summer and good luck with a wonderful school year!!
