William's new thing is trying to play on the phone. He loves to talk and I let him when it's someone he can talk to. He's now trying to pick up the phone and call people. We get on to him when he does this, but last night was a doozy!!
HE CALLED 911!!!
My phone rings at 9:45 pm and it is the sherrif's dpt. I recognized the number because Jennifer used to be a 911 dispatcher. I picked it up wondering what was going on and a little scared. When the lady said that she received a 911 call from our number, I told her I didn't think so. She then said that she heard a child talking when she picked up. Eddie then said that William was messing with the phone while he was putting away his clothes in the bedroom. I then apologized and told her it was my 3 year old son. Protocol is that they call back from a hang-up and send an officer to make sure everything is ok. She was explaining this and I told her that I knew it and then told her who my sister was. She then told me her name and we laughed and she told me who the officers were who were coming. About that time, they are pulling in the drive way. I made Eddie take William with him to tell the officers that it was a mistake and everything was fine and hopefully he made William tell him he was sorry. Just after that, my phone rings again and it's Jennifer. She was behind the officers pulling in my driveway and was freaking out. She got to where she had cell phone service (no service at my house) and pulled over to call. I told her what happened and let William talk to her. She explained to him that he scared her and I think that got him more than us telling him that he scared the police officers.
Hopefully we won't have that happen again, but who knows! It was an eventful night!!!
