William got a special treat this morning, Daddy brought him to school!! No, it's not what you're thinking, I was at school today too, but today was Donuts with Dad.
Every year, around Valentine's Day, our school has a morning that is called Donuts with Dad. This morning, all Dads, Grandpas, Uncles, Grandmas, Mammas or anyone else who can be there for a child is invited to school before the bell rings to come enjoy a donut and juice/milk with their child. It's really neat to see just how many people show up to support our kids!!
This morning, Eddie got up early and brought William to school in the Jeep, per William's request. They got to school shortly after I did and proceeded to the gym to enjoy their morning jolt of sugar. Eddie said everything was nice and William really enjoyed himself.
(Just to note, we also have Grandparents Lunch around Grandparents day and Muffins With Mom around Mother's day.)
