Herding Cats

OK, I made it to Friday!! It's been a very crazy, hectic week. School is crazy. We had a field trip on Tuesday. 30 4 and 5 year olds on a field trip in Baton Rouge is quite interesting to say the least, not to mention very tiring and nerve racking. I started my end of the year testing this week also, and let's just say, it didn't go as smoothly as I planned. The kids did great, the technology, not so great.

Today was also field day/carnival at school. It's a very tiring day starting with a talent show at 9 am. Each class is responsible for putting on an act. Then we keep the kids "occupied" until 12:30 when the carnival started. There is lunch in there, but that's not very easy either with half crazed 4 year olds. I think one of the parents at school put it best. It's like herding cats, half crazed cats at that! We made it though and I'm now home in the air conditioning and out of my sweaty clothes. I haven't showered yet, but that won't be far away either.

Let's just say I'm extremely ready for the weekend!!

Oh, did I mention we have Pre-K graduation on Thursday, so next week will also be quite crazy. And my aid has been called for petit jury on Monday. Say a few prayers that it's been canceled or she will be dismissed!
