Today we went to Eddie's Daddy's house. William had a ball! Mr. Willie has chickens, baby chickens, young turkeys, 2 calves and a horse. William walked around calling "chicky, chicky, chicky" and "cow - mooooo".
Eddie and Mr. Willie were trying to get the calves loaded into a trailer to take to auction. Let's just say this didn't go so well. The calves never got loaded and the bull calf ended up jumping the fence. 4 hours later, the bull was back in the fence and neither of them were loaded into the trailer. It was quite the event and William enjoyed all of it. Watching his Daddy on his tractor and his Papaw on his lawn mower trying to shoo a bull back into the fence. Quite amusing at times to say the least, as well as nerve wracking at times also.
He now has his first sunburn. I feel like a horrible mother, but I guess it had to happen sometime.
William loved the animals and had a wonderful time. I enjoyed watching him explore and announce everything that he saw. Every time he saw his Daddy, he would announce "I see my Daddy!" and he would announce "I see Papaw Willie!" when he saw his Papaw. It was a great day.
