Today was the first day this summer that William went to the babysitter's house. I got a lot done today while he was not at home. I am not sure that I was ready for it all, but we did it.
We took down his baby bed today! He's been sleeping in the day bed in his room for probably a month now or more, but the baby bed's still been there. Today, I changed his room around and made it into a big boy room. I took down his Pooh stuff and put up transportation things. He loves his trucks, so that's what we went with. I also moved his dressers into his closet so that I am able to use them. He loves to pull everything out of the drawers, so now I will be able to keep him out of them and actually put clothes in them. In order to make the dressers fit, I had to take part of the wire shelving out and I moved those into his room for his toys to go in. I left the changing table up b/c it still works for him and makes it much easier for me when I change his diapers. I dont know what I'm gonna do when I take that down. My baby will be a complete big boy! Here are a few pictures of his new room. Excuse the mess, it's still a work in progress.
This is the only Pooh left. The two hanging pictures will stay but the stuff on the shelf will be changing.
