Yesterday my mom called me and told me of the passing of a great man, Mr. Robert Evans. Mr. Robert lived next door to my grandparents and I've known him my whole life. Him and his wife stood in my parents' wedding, in fact. I have so many good memories of going to Mr. Robert and Mrs. Betty Jo's house and staying with them. It's hard to believe another one of the elders in my life has passed. Just a month ago, I lost my Great Uncle Lee. Both men played a very memorable part in my life. I guess it just comes with getting older, the people that have helped to mold you into who you are start dying. It's a part of life that you have to deal with, but it doesn't make it any easier.
Anyway, enough rambling. Bye Mr. Robert, you will be missed and remembered with great memories. Say hey to PaPaw and MaMaw for me. - Johnette
