Thank you Georgia Pacific!

You've just got to love when you make plans and then work decides to change everything on you!
I just got off of the phone with Eddie. He was not a happy camper and when I found out why, neither was I. He got to work this morning and discovered that his shift had been changed. He is now on the exact opposite of the shift he's been on for several years. That normally wouldn't be that big of a deal, but it's now summer and we have several plans made - around his former shift. Our vacation is planned for his 4 day weekend and now he is supposed to work all 4 days. He's trying to take a few vacation days and swap shifts with someone to make up for the problem as we speak, but it's still extremely frustrating! I've been looking forward to this vacation for 2 months. We're going to a condo on the beach with some good friends and their 15 month old. It's going to be a lot of fun and I really need a vacation!!
The next problem comes the very next weekend. We're going to an out of town wedding and now he's supposed to be working. He's doing the same thing with this situation that he's doing with our vacation, but we shouldn't have to be doing this!!
He then called me back to say that he's got to work nights and go in 2 hours early on June 16th - our anniversary. It's his last night and we weren't planning to do anything for our anniversary (our vacation is our anniversary present to each other), but the next day is Father's Day. He will have gone in early for both of his nights and will probably be super tired and sleep most of Father's Day. So there goes any plans I had for that day too.
Sorry I'm such a griper right now, but again I say -- THANK YOU GEORGIA PACIFIC!!!!
