My Sick Baby

Yesterday we had to go to the Dr. with William. He's had a runny nose and a cough, but so has everyone else. We've been able to control them both with OTC meds, but yesterday his ear started running. This is the first time since his tubes were put in in late January. The good news is his tubes are working. The bad news is he's got a gooky nose and ear with a cough. His chest is clear, thank goodness! He is now back on antibiotics to help clear it up. The NP said that his discharge was too thick and nasty to go with just plain ear drops. It's weird though, his ear didn't start running until yesterday and it was barely tinted. By yesterday afternoon, it was nasty and this morning it's just gross! My poor baby, he can't catch a break. He doesn't act like he feels bad, but it just hurts me to see that ear. Hopefully we will see an end to the pollen around here sometime soon and we will all start to feel better!!!
