Today was our day for doctors. Eddie had a dentist appointment and William went for his 6 month check up with the ENT.
William's check up was very fast and no new surprises. His ears look good. The right tube is functioning well and the left tube is no longer in place and floating in his ear canal. His ear looks good, however. Hopefully we will not have any more troubles with fluid or infections and if we do that tube can be replaced. It will continue to wiggle it's way out and fall out of his ear. Great news and everything I already knew pretty much (we have a great pedi). His appointment was at 10:45am and I was getting back up in the truck at 11:10am. I love those kind of appointments.
Eddie had to have one of his wisdom teeth pulled because it broke here a while back and he also had to have a filling done. My poor husband is now in pain. The extraction was expected to be routine as was his last wisdom tooth that he had to have pulled. Not this time! They numbed him up and started the extraction and he had to stop them to numb some more. Poor thing was numb all the way to his eye and part of his eye was numb. He has stitches and everything. The root was bigger than expected and so it is now not just a normal extraction. He has been laying around all day trying to take it easy and carefully eating so he can take a pain pill. He goes back next week to get the stitches out. Definitely not what we were expecting for him today.
