Mamma, Mamma, Mamma, Mamma....
That's all William's seemed to say in the last few days. He doesn't necessarily need anything, he just wants to make sure I'm still here I guess. He also can't just say it just once, he has to repeat it at least 3 times. Most of the time it's several more than that. I think he's said it a few hundred times in the last two days.
I am now hearing my Mom entering my brain. She used to tell us that she was going to change her name and not tell us what it was when we started doing that to her (we were much older and knew she was kidding, of course). It has crossed my mind a time or two!
Now, please don't get me wrong, I love the sound of him calling my name. There was a time that I wasn't sure that I was ever going to have a child to hear them say "Mamma". It's just when that's all you hear for several days (and he refuses to go to his Daddy most of the time), it gets quite old.
However, that being said, when he comes running and is smiling from ear to ear with those big dimples and gives me a "tight, tight" (big hug), it makes it all worth every repetitive Mamma that has ever been said.
