Cat Food It Is!!

I have to share yesterday's adventure of motherhood.
William has this orange Tonka hard hat that he loves to wear in all different ways on his head. Yesterday morning, he came running up to me with it cocked on his head quite interestingly. He reached for me to pick him up and I put him in my lap on the couch. I noticed that he had a mouth full of something. Knowing how he likes to hide things in the house for "later", I quickly tried to figure out what he had. I got a smell of his breath when he opened his mouth to chew some. I noticed the distinct smell of ... CAT FOOD! He had gotten into the extra bathroom and helped himself to a mouth full of the bag of cat food! I asked him if he was eating cat food and he quickly shook his head "NO" as he was chewing as fast as he could. He then started swallowing so that I would not get the cat food. He was almost through with his "treat", so I let him finish without digging out what was left. (disgusting!!)
I immediately called his Uncle Bubba and let him know that his nephew has taken after him. He had a taste for the kitty food in his younger years. He thought it was hilarious.
I'm sure it won't be his last taste of kitty food or other nasty things. The interesting adventures are just starting!! Ready or not, here we go!
