Ok, so I'm going to post twice in one day.
William got his RSV synagis shots today. He weighed in at 26 lbs 10 oz. He has gained almost a pound in a month.
He did pretty well with his shots. He got one in each leg. He did try to grab the syringe from the nurse. His Daddy had him held down and he got his arm free and tried to grab the syringe as the nurse was trying to administer the shot. He is one strong little man!!
He is set to get 2 more doses this year and after that, we will say goodbye to synagis shots!
One more preemie thing that will be behind us.
God bless insurance also. His shots today cost over $6,ooo. That's for 1 month's dose. Each month it cost about that much. As he weighs more, it will cost more.
He is now doing well and you can't tell that he even got shots. He is an amazingly resilliant little boy!
