Today we had to say a very sad goodbye to our wonderful dog, Bo. We recently found out that he had heartworms and it was quite advanced. He showed no symptoms, so we had no idea. He has since shown no symptoms, except the occasional cough.
Yesterday, he started having trouble breathing and was very weak. Eddie had plans to take him to the vet today, but when he checked on him this morning. He was already gone.
We hope that he did not suffer for long and died peacefully in his sleep. We are also grateful that the Good Lord made the difficult decision for us that it was his time to go.
He was our first "baby" and we will always love him.
We will miss you Bo!!
